USB-C to 12V RJ11 Power Cable

Here's a solution that prevents messy wires that we use ourselves!  It is a universal part,

This takes a USB-C Plug (PD/QC Compatible or standard 5V) and gives you an RJ11 12V jack which is compatible with many radar detectors from popular manufacturers like Escort, Valentine, and Uniden.

Please check your radar manufacturer for specifications.

1 year warranty.  Be careful not to place tension on the wire.  This can break the casing and bend the connection between the PCB, port, and internal wires.

Compatibility Notes

Many standard USBC ports on vehicles only support 5V output.  Some newer Teslas (S, 3, X, Y) have been confirmed to have PD compatible ports which are capable of a higher voltage output.  Please check your vehicle's manufacturer / manual / forums for more details.

If you are unsure, choose Version 2 for maximum compatibility.

it works

It's a bit too short and it really needs a mute button. it works fine but it feels like a really cheap cable. I would say that I hope it lasts but I actually am already looking for a replacement because unfortunately I assumed it came with a mute button.

Great - add Mute button

Great, could use a mute button though. As I use it with a radar detector.

Power Cord

I didn’t realize it was so short to not be able to use it. Guess I didn’t read the description properly. Nicely packaged.

Detector power cord

An answer to my prayers! Compact, easy in and out. No more huge cord that I have to pull across my shifter to plug into the power outlet!

USB-C 12V RJ11

It works fine on my Escort Max 360C but I wish its length was longer.
